There’s so much to say about Barry Manilow’s last show in Las Vegas, it’s taken me over a week to put this article together. Anyone who knows me can confirm - to their dismay :) - I’m rarely at a loss for words, but this time I’ve struggled with appropriately giving voice to the palpable emotion of the evening. How do you explain feeling? How do I express heartfelt gratitude for not only this show, but all the one’s before it? In the end I’ve decided to write it the only way I know how, from the heart. I apologize for it’s length, sometimes a few words just won’t do!

Tomorrow - later today if you live in the UK - Barry Manilow will be performing as part of an extraordinary ensemble of talent - of course none are as extraordinary as Barry - at the prestigious “Royal Variety Show” in Manchester at the Lowry’s Lyric Theater. The show will be televised on ITV1 in the UK at a later date.

Since March 6th 2010 when Barry Manilow opened at the Paris Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas as resident headliner, (directly following his fabulous five year run headlining at the Las Vegas Hilton), I and several thousand others have shared our opinion that Barry is not only a phenomenal musician and performer with the best show in Las Vegas, but this show is one of his most ascetically beautiful, in it’s music, art and choreography..
